Diagnosis and treatment of skin disease

Parish Dermatology physicians realize that acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), and psoriasis are worrisome to patients and pay special attention to treating these  conditions. Seborrheic and contact dermatitis may cause a great deal of concern.  Common skin diseases include acne,

Make sure you get the proper treatment when you have a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection.  Our doctors treat herpes simplex (cold sores), herpes zoster (shingles), verrucae (warts), and molluscum contagiosum, just to name a few of the conditions concerned.,  Folliculitis, impetigo, and pyoderma are some other infections that can be resolved.  Tinea pedis (athelete’s foot) and onychomycosis (fungal infection of the nails) area readily treated today.  Tropical diseases can also occur in Philadelphia.

Dr. Lawrence Charles Parish has a special interests in wound healing, such as: stasis ulcers, pyoderma gangrenosum, and decubitus ulcers, as well as using patch testing to diagnose skin allergies.


Dr. Jennifer L. Parish has a special interest in improving the appearance of her patient whether it involves treatment of wrinkles or the surgical removal of a skin cancer with minimal scarring.
